Abstract

Water and sediment discharge data are compulsary input for HEC-6 model in estimating reservoir aggradation. Usually, these data are monitored only in some points along main rivers and branches. Therefore, calculation of water and sediment discharge in non-monitored areas is very important to estimae the reservoir aggradation. This research presents results of using SWAT model to calculate water and sediment discharges to be used as input data for HEC-6 model in estimating aggradation for Lai Chau-Son La- Hoa Binh reservoir system.
