Abstract

Soil salinity is one of the causes affecting agriculture in many countries and territories around the world. This study aims to develop the saline soil map of ​​Long Thanh and Nhon Trach districts, Dong Nai province, using Sentinel-2 data taken in the dry season 2020 - 2021. Salinity Index (SI) and Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI) were used in this study. The actual measurement data and satellite data were collected at the same time in order to build a suitable model of index correlation at the study area. On the basis of correlation calculations by a multivariable linear regression model with a correlation coefficient of approximately 0.75. The data set collected in March 2021 was used to build a saline soil map in the study area due to salinity soils were clearly detected at this time.
