Abstract

This study aims to develop an appropriate rainfall project, based on the relationship between the rainfall occurrence rate and the coefficients, dew point temperature, relative humidity, specific humidity and wind at 1000 mb, 925 mb, 850 mb. Data from meteorological stations at Hue city, A Luoi and South East part of Thua Thien - Hue province was used to test projects for the Phu Bai airport area and to assess the predictability and accuracy of the selected methods. The assessment depends on chain data from 2014 to 2018 and independent series data from January to March 2019. The drizzle forecast was applied for months which often occur light rain, from January to March in Thua Thien - Hue province.
