Abstract
This study assessed current water environment situation in joss papermaking village in Song Ho Commune, Thuan Thanh District, Bac Ninh Province. There are 12 surface water sampling locations, 08 ground water sampling locations and 06 wastewater sampling locations. The results showed that water quality parameters such as TSS, COD, BOD5, NH4+, NO2- in 12 surface water samples exceeded the permission according to QCVN 08-MT:2015/BTNMT. Most of remaining parameters of surface water samples are in accordance with the permission of QCVN 09-MT:2015/BTNMT. In the wastewater samples, there are organic matters, heavy metals and micro-organisms exceeding the permission of QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT. The research results presented the sign of water pollution in Song Ho commune, Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province. The research also proposes some environmental management measures to remediate and improve water environment in the craft village.
