Abstract

Nowadays, groundwater treatment technologies using built-in pressure filter tank have been studied and applied in factories and industrial parks and achieved high efficiency in reducing iron and manganese. The treatment system using the pressure filter tank with built-in aerator is completely closed and autonatically installed. That requires less human power and in operating and achieve high accuracy. Tan Kim commune, Can Giuoc district, Long An province is the political, economic, cultural and social center of the district. There are some industrial zones locating in this commune. However, there is no clean water supply system in Tan Kim. With a standard water consumption of 100 liters per day, there is a need of 1.200 m3/day of water production for the demand of the commune. Therefore, the building the first stage water plant with the capacity of 1.200 m³/day using pressure filter tank with built-in aerator will be suitable and meet the demand for clean water of the commune.
